Lord of the Flies Thoughts

Lord of the Flies is a very… interesting book. I like how there is a lot of description of setting and character. The characters are also very developed. This book has an underlying tone of pigs. The island has a tail and we have a character called Piggy. Jack wants to kill a pig. Coincidence? I think not. Something tells me that Piggy will be killed by Jack, but that is just a theory.

I think this book is well developed, but it is also very confusing. The British language doesn’t help with that either. I don’t think I would have book for fun, but again, I don’t read for fun anyway, so good for you book. I am also not really an English major; I would be the exact opposite of that. I am more math orientated, but that is a topic for another day.

Human Nature

One thing I truly believe about humans is they think about themselves. In other words, all humans are selfish to some degree. Other beliefs that humans exhibit is that most, not all, want to have some form of leadership in life and that people want to make themselves happy at the moment. There are so many that you could make up, but these to me are the most common among humans as a species.

The reason that I think people are selfish to some degree is that people always think about what is in it for them. I always think would could happen to me and we all know that we want this to affect us in a positive manner. This leads into making ourselves happy at the current moment. Examples of this are procrastination and laziness. Procrastination is one is when people put something off to a later date. There is usually an excuse with it like, “I will be more rested tomorrow.” This is to get out of doing something that make you unhappy which, intern, makes you happy at the moment of procrastination. Laziness has the same sort of principal. The final thing is leadership in life or a synonym for this is independence. This may seem like a weird connection, but all independence is, is being in control of what you might be doing with your parent or someone else. In other terms you want leadership over what you are doing because you would like to be the only person doing that.

Accountant Response

This is a free post, so I might want to write about something interesting. Ah ha, I know what I will write about a movie. This movie is The Accountant. This was a really great movie I saw over fall break. It is about an accountant with a special twist that I shall not say. It is a really fun and really action packed movie. I wasn’t bored for a single minute. This is what I liked, but there are some downsides to account for.

Did you like my joke, let me know in the comments below, so your choices are
A: I loved it
B: What Joke?
C: Just stop

Now that I have unleashed my inner Kevin Hart for the day it is time to get on top of things again. I didn’t like that story behind it, and it was very confusing until the last 5 minutes. It was hard to follow the story, but not the action. That is one thing that people wanted from the movie, but I just don’t see how that is good. I also didn’t like the fact that the advertisements were very misleading. They showed a girl in all of the trailers, but she played a very small insignificant role in the entire movie. I should have expected that. That is just how movies are these days. I honestly think it was a good movie overall. That is all I have for today and I will check back Thursday for those answers in the comments (there is no right answer). I will see the 2 of you that read this next week for more mandatory blog post, but until then have a great life.
