Weekly Reading

The House of Hades has kicked up nicely. We have a conundrum of people being in two places at once. I  like the way Rick Riordan integrates the different scenes. I love the scenes he puts in my head as well. He describes his scenes in a very vivid fashion. It is very much like the short stories we read in class and at home.

I also have an appreciation for his character building skills as well. I can tell that he puts a lot of time in his characters. I honestly think that he spends hours upon hours on characters. The other thing that is cool is the fact that multiple characters in multiple different places. It is like a very delicate tango. You must calculate your steps it must flow freely and be precise. The fact is that is hard to do and I must applaud Mr. Riordan for this feat in his novel.
