The "A&P" Response

I have read many different things this week, but one that stands out is the “A&P”. The “A&P” stands out because of what Sammy thinks about these girls walking into the store. He describes every living detail about these girls. He does it in a way that is very rude. He is demeaning these girls, but that isn’t the worst part of it.

After he demeans these girls he stands up for them and even loses his life supporting job to try to impress them. The sad thing is that they don’t even see. I really wonder what must have been going through Sammy’s mind when he made this decision. He probably thought of the now and not the punishments that would come along with it. I also would love to see the future Sammy and what he thinks about his actions.
