Esports

I love video games. This is a fact, and nobody could ever change how I feel about this. I play some sports. I am an avid baseball player. There is something called Esports that combines these two passions into one love. Esports is basically video games as a sport. While some people would argue that video games aren’t a sport, they are so just don’t argue it. A video must become a sport and not all video games are made the same. The game must have Esports potential.

For a game to have the potential to be an Esport it must have a few things, it should require some team based mechanics and have a level of coordination, and it also must have a meta. I understand "meta" is a word that most people do not understand. That is understandable. A meta is what works in the game at what time in the game's life cycle. Now that we have that out of the way, I can give an example. Overwatch is a prominent example of these criteria. It has a meta and it requires a high degree of skill and coordination of you and your team. I would like to have some friends that would feel the same way I do about Esports and want to have an interest in this sport. I have a grand time in video games and they are always more fun with a competitive team.
